Portland Revels Introduces TRADITION DAYS
THE ARGENTINE TANGO Portland Revels presents an afternoon and evening of classes, dance and music-making as part of our new Tradition Days program. Come and learn the history of tango music, and learn to tango! Alternately, learn harmony singing or how to play in our band of fools (bring an instrument!). Dance the night away at an Argentine "Milonga", or social dance, with dance instruction. WHAT ARE TRADITION DAYS? Portland Revels is proud to introduce our new program: Tradition Days. Several times a year we'll be partnering with local artists and "tradition bearers" to teach us traditions from around the world. We'll build community with a potluck supper and then sing or dance together in the evening.
