Gallery Theater Holds Auditions For THE FANTASTICKS 11/17, 11/18

AUDITIONS at Gallery Theater- The Fantasticks Book & Lyrics by Tom Jones Music by Harvey Schmidt, Directed by Ted Desel

Date: Tuesday, November 17, 7:00 p.m. Wednesday, November 18, 7:00 p.m.

Location: McMinnville Covenant Church 2155 W 2nd Street-Main Sanctuary

Cast:

The Mute The Mute agile male or female

The Narrator El Gallo quality voice and story teller

The Girl Luisa trained voice and dancer (can play 16-20)

The Boy Matt trained voice (can play 16-20)

The Boy's Father Hucklebee good comedian

The Girl's Father/Mother Bellomy good comedian

The Old Actor Henry can play "old" actor

The Man Who Dies Mortimer good ability at dying

Musicians needed: harpist and percussionist. Also needed are costumers, set, props & crew members.

Music Director-Kathy Ganske, Choreographer-Edwina Castle, Stage Manager-Antonia Osterhout

Rehearsals will be scheduled around actor schedules and the holidays; generally Sunday-Thursday evenings.

Eleven Performances: January 29, 30, 31, February 5, 6, 7, 12, 13, 14, 19 & 20 ~ 2010

Friday and Saturday performances are at 7:30 p.m. Sunday performances at 3:00 pm.

You will be required to pay a $25 refundable deposit for script/music rehearsal material.
