DEFENDING THE CAVEMAN Comes to CLO Cabaret 10/6 - 1/8

DEFENDING THE CAVEMAN, the longest running solo play in Broadway history, makes its way to Pittsburgh, opening at the CLO Cabaret on October 6, 2011, running through January 8, 2012. This hilariously insightful one-man comedy explores the way men and women relate - a hysterical "battle of the sexes" phenomenon that has won the hearts of millions in more than 45 countries.

Both men and women will affectionately nudge each other as they recognize themselves in the stories being told on the stage. Labeled a "comic phenomenon" by the New York Times, DEFENDING THE CAVEMAN is filled with hysterical observations into contemporary feminism, masculine sensitivity and the erogenous zones - exploring the ways that men and women fight, laugh and love.

Philadelphia native Vince Valentine stars as the "Caveman", and is no stranger to this role - having performed in DEFENDING THE CAVEMAN since 2004. Vince is a seasoned stand-up comic, theatre, independent film and TV actor, and conducts stand-up comedy workshops for TheComedyCollective.
