Arizona Flute Society's Autumn Affair featuring Talent One, a local performing artist, is returning to the Valley to delight us with her talents. Kristin Caliendo and her husband, composer/guitarist Christopher Caliendo, will collaborate in an intimate salon setting to open the Arizona Flute Society's season.

Ms. Caliendo graduated Summa Cum Laude from Grand Canyon University in 2003, earned her Master of Music in flute performance from Arizona State University in 2005 and is currently working on her Doctorate of Musical Arts in Flute Performance at Claremont Graduate University in California. She is the winner of several instrumental competitions, has studied under prominent teachers and artists, performs and records jazz, and finds time to teach music as well!

Christopher, a world-renowned recording artist and composer of over 500 compositions, has Emmy nominations, film scores and numerous awards from the Academy of Motion Pictures to his credit. His talents attract a variety of fans. Christopher was chosen by Bob Hope to perform at his 90th birthday; he has recorded Hollywood soundtracks and is the first American in history to be twice commissioned by Pope John Paul II to compose sacred music for the Vatican.

Kristin and Christopher are a stunning couple to both listen to and watch! Come join us in launching our new series, Autumn Affair, as well as our new season on September 26, 2010 at 2:30 pm at the Heirloom Restaurant, 20775 North Pima Road, Scottsdale, AZ 85255.

Ticket prices are $25 for Arizona Flute Society members, and $40 for non-members. Price includes appetizers, desserts, fabulous entertainment in an intimate setting where one can meet/interact with the artists, and of course the opportunity to participate in the silent auction.
