WST and The Philadelphia Inquirer Continue Partnership to Enrich Learning

Walnut Street Theatre and The Philadelphia Inquirer announce their second year of partnership focusing on theatre and writing for local high-school students! The 2011-2012 "Seeing the Stage Through Our Eyes" Program invites students, grades 9-12, to participate in a year-long program at America's Oldest Theatre. Students from around the region will be chosen to become theatre writers for Walnut Street Theatre and The Philadelphia Inquirer.
Participants will:• Receive admission to all five of Walnut Street Theatre's 2011-2012 Mainstage final Dress Rehearsals for the student and an adult (parent, guardian, relative, teacher, mentor, clergy, etc.)• Submit a feature article for each show. All articles will be published on Walnut Street Theatre's website and select submissions will be printed in full-run and online editions of The Philadelphia Inquirer.
