Jujamcyn Theaters President Jordan Roth turned to Instagram this week to share a photo of the interior of Broadway's St. James Theatre, now undergoing renovations. Roth jokingly captioned the empty house 'Standing Room Only.'

In the video below, DCPA Broadway Executive Director John Ekeberg talks about Frozen as banners for the show were hoisted throughout the Denver Performing Arts Complex - ironically, on the first day of summer!

Disney Theatrical Productions has just announced the full cast and creative team for its new Broadway musical, Frozen, which will join hits Aladdin and The Lion King on Broadway in spring 2018 at the St. James Theatre. Check out its two stars singing from the show below!

BROADWAYSTED - the popular and hilarious podcast that combines theatre and alcohol- is gearing up for their 50th Episode where they'll be appearing live as the headliners of an afternoon event of "Day Drinking" at NYC PodFest.  The show, which also features Smithsonian's podcast sidedoor and Death Wish Coffee Company's Fueled by Death Cast, will find the Broadwaysted crew day drinking with special guest Krysta Rodriguez.  For tickets, click here.

Frozen fans may still have to wait years until a stage version of the animated hit takes its first bow on Broadway, but here's a little treat to hold you over. The new American play Hand to God opened on Broadway last night, April 7, 2015 at the Booth Theatre (222 West 45th Street), marking the Broadway debuts of playwright Robert Askins and director Moritz von Stuelpnagel. The Public Theater's production of the new musical LOVE'S LABOUR'S LOST, the second show of The Public's 2013 free Shakespeare in the Park season at the Delacorte, recently began previews on July 23. Directed by Alex Timbers, LOVE'S LABOUR'S LOST features songs by Michael Friedman with book adaptation by Timbers and will run through Sunday, August 18, with an official opening on Monday, August 12.
