The show, produced with Third Coast Creative, will open in April 2015 at TUTS Underground in Houston, TX.

The monthly series will feature special guests from all corners of the entertainment industry to help bring to life the music and lyrics of Scott Alan straight from his living room into yours. The second episode, directed by Robbie Rozelle, features jazz vocalist Jane Monheit singing Alan's 'Always' from his second album, 'Keys'.

Kaufman Music Center's Broadway Close Up series kicked off earlier this week, giving Broadway fans the behind the scenes experience of musicals old and new with eye-opening interviews and inspiring performances by some of Broadway's greatest talents at the renowned Merkin Concert Hall.

Famed composer Scott Alan recently took part in the Broadway Gets GLAAD: A Benefit Concert on August 4, where he performed a rendition of his song 'Blessing' from his album KEYS: THE SONGS OF SCOTT ALAN. Check out his performance below!

The first episode, directed by television and Broadway star Nadia Quinn (Bloody Bloody Andrew Jackson; Smash; The Big C) features ANNIE and INTO THE WOODS star Lilla Crawford singing Alan's 'Never Neverland (Fly Away)' from his debut album 'Dreaming Wide Awake'.

It's suppertime, and the living is easy, but Ian's pot comes to a boil when a sexy, singing, seductress appears in his kitchen with her very own backup dancers. Who needs Jamie Oliver? Ann Hampton Callaway and Liz Callaway returned to 54 Below with SIBLING RIVERLRY last weekend and set up a surprise proposal during the show on April 19. David Robeano proposed to his partner Sean Thomas-Breitfeld. The couple has been together for seven years. Watch the video below!

On Sunday February 23 at Joe's Pub, BroadwayWorld.com celebrated the best New York cabaret performers, performances and shows during 2013 as voted on by more than 7,500 fans at the end of last year. With BroadwayWorld's lead New York cabaret columnist and reviewer Stephen Hanks as the host, many of the Award winners appeared to perform, and as you'll see in these videos they put on an amazingly entertaining show.

The York Theatre Company (James Morgan, Producing Artistic Director; Andrew Levine, Executive Director) honored legendary Broadway and film composer Alan Menken with the Oscar Hammerstein Award for Lifetime Achievement in Musical Theatre at the 22nd Oscar Hammerstein Award Gala learlier this week, December 9, 2013. BroadwayWorld was there for the ceremony and you can check out performance highlights from Norm Lewis, Sierra Boggess, Zachary Levi and more below!

BroadwayWorld.com is very excited to announce that we will be returning to Joe's Pub at the Public Theater in 2014, kicking off a year-long celebration of the community and our 10th anniversary with regularly scheduled concerts, live streams and special events in a BIG way. The concert series will launch on January 20, 2014 with BROADWAYWORLD VISITS OZ, directed by Richard Jay-Alexander and with music direction by Mary-Mitchell Campbell. Our featured composer of the week is Jonathan Reid Gealt. Here is an exclusive video of powerhouse performer Katie Thompson, who recently starred in the musical Giant at the Public Theater, singing Jonathan's song 'No Reason at All' at our Cutting-Edge Composers concert at the Canal Room.

This week's feature is 'Seeing You There' by Adam Gwon. Tony-nominee Josh Young (Jesus Christ Superstar), who happens to be a co-founder of Cutting-Edge Composers, sang this at our first concert at the Laurie Beechman Theatre.

Michael Childers' ONE NGHT ONLY performed on April 24 at the McCallum Theatre for the Performing Arts, with special guest Carol Channing. Watch the cast sing 'Hello, Dolly!' below!
