The Hollywood Bowl's production of the third longest running musical in Broadway history - CHICAGO - stars Samantha Barks as Velma, Drew Carey as Amos, Lucy Lawless as Mama Morton, Stephen Moyer as Billy Flynn, and Ashlee Simpson as Roxie Hart. The Production opened last night, July 26, and runs through July 28. The show is directed by Brooke Shields with Musical Direction by Rob Fisher. Hernandez were on hand for a sneak peak at rehearsal's and one-one-one cast and creative team interviews last Friday, July 19 for The Hollywood Bowl's production of the third longest running musical in Broadway history – CHICAGO. On tomorrow night's episode of GLEE, a new song by Mervyn Warren and Tony winner Jeff Marx titled 'You Have More Friends Than You Know' will premiere. The song was written for a show centered around the 'It Gets Better' campaign. A portion of the proceeds from digital sale of the tracks will go to support The Trevor Project - the leading national organization providing crisis intervention and suicide prevention services to lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and questioning youth.
