The Cincinnati Playhouse in the Park opens its 2015-16 season with the heartwarming, soaring musical THE SECRET GARDEN, based on the enduring family classic penned more than a century ago by Frances Hodgson Burnett. Winner of three Tony Awards on Broadway, with book and lyrics by Pulitzer Prize-winning playwright Marsha Norman and music by Lucy Simon, THE SECRET GARDEN runs Sept. 5-Oct. 3 in the Playhouse's Robert S. The new musical Daddy Long Legs will have an open-ended run at the Davenport Theatre (354 West 45th Street). Starring Megan McGinnis (Broadway's LES MISERABLES, Side Show, Little Women) and Paul Alexander Nolan (Broadway's Once, Jesus Christ Superstar, Doctor Zhivago) and based on the 1912 novel by Jean Webster, Daddy Long Legs features music and lyrics by Tony Award nominee Paul Gordon (Sense and Sensibility), book by Tony Award and Olivier Award winner John Caird (LES MISERABLES), and direction by John Caird. Daddy Long Legs begins previews on September 10, 2015, and will officially open September 28, 2015. Tickets are on sale now at Telecharge.com. The brand-new Lexington Theatre Company presents its inaugural production of 42nd Street. Tony Award Winner Karen Ziemba, will play Dorothy Brock, alongside other Broadway veterans and up-and-coming actors. 42nd Street is presented by Variety Live at The Opera House with Co-Producing Sponsor Kentucky One Health, and runs July 23, through July 26 at the Lexington Opera House. Lucy Knows Love (NYC style) is the latest comedy web series to be launched from STAGE17.tv. The series is written by and starring Broadway's Susan Louise O'Connor (Blithe Spirit) as Lucy Saunders. Single gal turned married lady takes her Dayton, OH talk show to streets of NYC helping random strangers with what she knows best-LOVE. It's Lucy Knows Love (NYC Style) and boy is she fantastic. With her canny ability to assess the problems of even strangers on the street, there is nothing stopping Lucy from working her magic on the love-troubled souls in the greatest city in the world. Roundabout Theatre Company's production of Machinal, starring Rebecca Hall, written by Sophie Treadwell and directed by Lyndsey Turner, began previews on December 20, 2013 ahead of an official opening on January 16, 2014 at the American Airlines Theatre on Broadway. John Caird's production of DADDY LONG LEGS is now playing at London's newest theatre complex, the St. James Theatre. DADDY LONG LEGS will run at the St. James Theatre until 08 December. Robert Adelman Hancock and Megan McGinnis will reprise the roles of Jervis Pendleton and Jerusha Abbott. Check out the video below!

Kathleen Turner is currently starring in the world premiere production of HIGH at Cincinnati Playhouse in the Park. The production is running through October 2, 2010, after which producers are aiming for a Broadway transfer. Robert Foxworth plays King Lear and Bruce Turk the Fool in Shakespeare's tragedy, directed by Festival Artistic Director Adrian Noble. The crowns are swapped in Alan Bennett's The Madness of George III, also helmed by Noble, where Miles Anderson will play King George III and Foxworth will play Dr. Willis. The Festival also includes Shakespeare's The Taming of the Shrew directed by Ron Daniels with Jonno Roberts and Emily Swallow as the two sparring lovers.

Signature Theatre, winner of the 2009 Regional Theatre Tony Award, presents the Washington premiere of the hit musical comedy [title of show], winner of three Obie Awards and a Tony nomination. A zany take on two friends' decision to write a musical, [title of show] runs April 6 through June 27 in Signature's remarkably intimate 110-seat ARK Theatre.
