The legendary production of Les Miserables is celebrating its 30th birthday this week and as part of the celebrations, check out the interview video below of Peter Lockyer, who plays Jean Valjean, and Rachelle Ann Go who plays Fantine.

Broadway's Les Miserables recently introduced the world to #MizFlatCosette, stemming from the popular concepts of Flat Stanley and Flat Stella. Over the course of the past few weeks, Flat Cosette has made her way around the world with fans at their favorite spots or on vacation. Today, Flat Cosette officially nominated herself for the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge, in return challenging Flat Stanley, Flat Stella and Les Miserables Broadway's own Cosette, Samantha Hill.

Earlier this week, the company of ONCE took part in the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge and in turn challenged their neighbors, the cast of Les Miserables, to do the same. Who did they nominate? The Broadway companies of Matilda, Kinky Boots and The Phantom of the Opera. Check out their video below!

On August 31, American Repertory Theatre opened The Gershwins' PORGY AND BESS. Written by Ira Gershwin, George Gershwin, DuBose and Dorothy Heyward, the A.R.T. production features an adaptation by Pulitzer Prize-winning playwright Suzan-Lori Parks and Obie Award-winning composer Diedre L. Murray. It is directed by A.R.T. Artistic Director Diane Paulus, with choreography by Ronald K. Brown. The show began previews on August 17 and is planning a Broadway transfer this winter. The production is scheduled to begin previews at the Richard Rogers Theatre on December 17, 2011 in anticipation of a January 12, 2012 Broadway opening. The first footage of the show has been released in a new commercial spot and BroadwayWorld brings you a first look below!

Since its opening at the Savoy Theatre in December 2009, almost 600,000 patrons have now seen Jerry Mitchell's multi award-winning production, In the video below, the cast visits in to QVC studios for a live performance of 'So Much Better' from the award-winnning musical.

From 26 April 2011 Natalie Casey will join the west end cast of the Olivier award-wining Legally Blonde The Musical to play ditzy beautician Paulette Buonofonté. She joins Susan McFadden as Elle Woods, Carley Stenson as Margot, Nicola Brazil as Serena,Siobhan Dillon as Vivienne and Peter Davison as Professor Callahan. Natalie Casey takes over the role from Denise Van Outen, whose last performance will be Saturday 23 April. From mid-June Lee Mead will join the west end cast to play Emmett Forrest.
