The 17-week limited engagement of the critically-acclaimed revival of The Glass Menagerie begins performances at the Booth Theatre (222 W 45th Street) on Thursday, September 5, 2013, and opens on Thursday, September 26th. The production will star multiple Tony and Emmy Award-winner Cherry Jones as Amanda Wingfield, film and stage star Zachary Quinto as Tom, two-time Tony-nominee Celia Keenan-Bolger as Laura, and Brian J. Schmackary's will donate half the proceeds and all tips generated from this event to BCEFA as part of this special pre-Tony Awards 'Thank You Broadway' event. The American Repertory Theater (A.R.T.)'s critically acclaimed production of Tennessee Williams's The Glass Menagerie, directed by Tony Award-winning director John Tiffany, will offer ASL interpreted and audio described performances on February 26 and 27. Following the success of the first "Get Out the Vote" event on October 14th, Broadway for Obama founders (and Broadway siblings) Celia Keenan-Bolger (Peter and the Starcatcher) and Andrew Keenan-Bolger (Newsies) in association with Women For Obama have announced another "Broadway Gets Out the Vote" Phone Bank, to be held on Monday, October 29, from 6:30pm - 9:30pm at the offices of Telsey + Company (311 West 43rd Street, 10th Floor).

The producers of Peter and the Starcatcher, the five-time Tony® Award-winning play by Rick Elice, will celebrate the 10th annual International Talk Like a Pirate Day on Wednesday, September 19th, with a special "Stache Day" in honor of their own pirate, Black Stache.
