Bobby Cannavale, Laura Linney, Peter Dinklage & More Set for Labyrinth's Benefit Reading of THE CHERRY ORCHARD

Labyrinth Theater Company, the award-winning, nationally renowned theater company, will stage a reading of Company Member Jonathan Marc Sherman's adaptation of The Cherry Orchard, Texas Red on April 24, benefiting the Company's new play development programs. This one-night-only event will feature Labyrinth Company Members Bobby Cannavale, Chris Chalk, Ethan Hawke, Stephen McKinley Henderson, Portia, Elizabeth Rodriguez, Yul Vazquez and guest artists Paul Dano, Peter Dinklage, Maya Hawke, Zoe Kazan, and Laura Linney. Cast subject to continuing availability.

CATF Sets 2016 Season

The Contemporary American Theater Festival at Shepherd University has announced its 2016 line-up featuring five new American plays, including three world premieres. Theater Festival Producing Director Ed Herendeen has chosen scripts from Christina Anderson, Allison Gregory, Chisa Hutchinson, two-time OBIE-Award winner, Susan Miller, and Ronan Noone.

Contra Costa Civic Theatre to Present THE MOUNTAINTOP,4 4/15-5/8

Contra Costa Civic Theatre (CCCT) continues its 56th season with The Mountaintop, Katori Hall's daring reimagining of a seminal event in American history, directed by CCCT Artistic Director Marilyn Langbehn. The Mountaintop plays from April 15 through May 8- performances are Fridays and Saturdays at 8pm, and Sundays at 2pm at the theatre.

Miles G. Jackson to Star in MY NAME IS ASHER LEV at George Street Playhouse; Cast Announced!

George Street Playhouse today announced the cast of Aaron Posner's MY NAME IS ASHER LEV, which runs April 12 through May 1 at the New Brunswick theatre. Miles G. Jackson (4000 Miles) will portray the titular Jewish artist Asher Lev, who must be a painter despite his faith and the will of his family. Bob Ari (Frost/Nixon, GSP's Red) and Lena Kaminsky (Law & Order, GSP's The Pillowman) both return to George Street to round out the cast.  MY NAME IS ASHER LEV will be directed by George Street Playhouse Director of Education and Outreach, Jim Jack.

Cast Announced for Sanguine's Premiere of PRIMARY at IRT Theater

Sanguine Theatre Company will present the World Premiere of Gracie Gardner's PRIMARY, directed by Alex Keegan at IRT Theater (154 Christopher Street, between Greenwich and Washington, 10014), April 6-24 with performances Wednesday through Saturday at 8pm and Sunday at 3pm.
