Block will join the Tony Award winning company of Anything Goes performing the role of 'Reno Sweeney' while Sutton Foster is filming the television pilot, Bunheads, for 3 weeks in November. Specific dates have been announced today and Block will officially be stepping into the role November 4 through November 22.

This marks the Off-Broadway debut of the classic American comedy.

Directed by Rob Evan (Jekyll & Hyde, Les Misérables, Tarzan), BROADWAY AMBASSADORS is a full-length concert showcasing the many musical styles that make up the Broadway Songbook. BROADWAY AMBASSADORS features performances from Luba Mason (Chicago, How to Succeed . . . The Will Rogers Follies) Capathia Jenkins (Caroline or Change, The Look of Love), Norm Lewis (Porgy & Bess, The Little Mermaid, Side Show) and Mr. Evan. Jeremy Roberts is the musical director. Performances will take place at the historic Grand Theatre of Havana - also known as the Garcia Lorca Theatre - on November 3rd, 4th, and 5th, 2011. In addition, the artists from the production will conduct several workshops and master classes for students of ISA, the State run performing arts institute.
