Comedy Works South in The Landmark Village has announced the appearance of comedian Tracy Morgan for two nights and three shows only, Saturday October 17: 7:30 PM and 9:30 PM and Sunday October 18: 7:00 PM.
NAACP Image Award nominee Tracy Morgan plays wild and unpredictable movie star Tracy Jordan in NBC's two-time Emmy Award-winning '30 Rock,' a workplace comedy where the workplace exists behind-the-scenes of a live variety show. This year, 30 Rock is nominated for 17 Emmy Awards including Tracy Morgan for best supporting actor.

Entertainment Weekly is reporting that Kristin Chenoweth (whose most recent TV gig, Pushing Daisies, appears to be all but cancelled) has joined the cast of Fox's new animated comedy Sit Down, Shut Up, about the staff at a small-town Florida high school.
Last night, September 21st 2008 the 60th Annual Emmy Awards were presented at the Nokia Theater in Los Angeles. Theater stars Jeremy Piven, Dianne Wiest, Cynthia Nixon, Dame Eileen Atkins, Laura Linney, Alec Baldwin, Glenn Close and Zeljko Ivanek were among the winners.
