Inspired equally by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle's iconic detective and the ephemeral fog sculptures by artist Fujiko Nakaya, Huntington Playwriting Fellow Walt McGough has written Sherlock Holmes and the Case of the Emerald Necklace, a series of free, downloadable original audio plays that correspond with - and play out along - the Emerald Necklace Conservancy's free exhibition, Fog x FLO: Fujiko Nakaya on the Emerald Necklace.

The Americana Music Association has named GRAMMY®-nominated duo Kenneth Pattengale and Joey Ryan of The Milk Carton Kids as hosts of the 17th annual Americana Honors & Awards show. The show is scheduled to take place at 6:30 PM (CDT) next Wednesday, September 12 at Nashville's historic Ryman Auditorium and will also feature Musical Director Buddy Guy fronting an All-Star band including Don Was, Jerry Pentecost, Joe Pisapia, Ian Fitchuk, Lillie Mae, Josh Grange, Jim Hoke and the incredible McCrary Sisters. A live video stream of the 2018 Honors & Awards show will be webcast via NPRMusic.org. Additionally, CMT is set to broadcast a special featuring performance highlights on Wednesday, November 28 at 8:00 PM CST; followed by a special broadcast of the television series Austin City Limits on PBS in February 2019.

Full Casting Announced For the World Premiere of WOMEN IN POWER

Director of Nuffield Southampton Theatres (NST), Samuel Hodges, today announces full casting for the world premiere of Women in Power. NST Associate Director Blanche McIntyre directs Lydia Bewley, best known for The Inbetweeners, Plebs and E4's comedy Drifters, Elizabeth Boag, Anna Fordham, Lisa Kerr, Anne Odeke and Alicia Mckenzie. The production, in association with Oxford Playhouse, sees some of the UK's most influential female voices, Wendy Cope, Jenny Eclair, Suhayla El-Bushra, Natalie Haynes, Shappi Khorsandi, Jess Phillips MP and Brona C Titley, come together to write this musical comedy based on the Greek classic, The Assemblywomen. The production opens on 13 September at NST City, with previews from 6 September and runs until 29 September. It will then run at Oxford Playhouse from 3 - 6 October.
