Renowned country artist Michael Peterson(www.michaelpetersononline.com) is celebrating a remarkable 20 years since the release of his self-titled, gold-selling major label debut that spawned five Top 20 hit country singles. The Grammy-nominated singer/songwriter, and multi-talented performer is releasing “Drink, Swear, Steal & Lie” worldwide on March 31, 2018 and features dynamic re-recordings of four of his greatest hits and re-imagines seven genre classics.

Nashville-based country/Americana outfit Whiskey Wolves of the West released its debut album, Country Roots, today via Rock Ridge Music. With a sound that is something that can only be earned by a thousand nights in smoky bars and a million miles on bald bus tires, the Whiskey Wolves are disciples at what could be the last supper of country music. A concisely focused, seven-track melting pot of an album—with tunes that are high and lonesome, yearning and dark, twangy and gritty and oh-so-satisfying—Country Roots features the dynamic songwriting and performing tandem of Tim Jones (vocals, guitar) and Leroy Powell (vocals, guitar, bass, pedal steel, clavinet, keys, harmonica), two prime progenitors of the new Nashville sound.

The Country Music Hall of Fame® and Museum's upcoming major exhibition, Outlaws & Armadillos: Country's Roaring '70s, will feature original works of art by a number of celebrated, Austin-based artists. Opening May 25 for a nearly three-year run, the exhibition explores an era of cultural and artistic exchange between Nashville, Tenn., and Austin, Texas. It will include commissioned illustrations by some of the artists essential to the Austin music scene, including Jim Franklin, Kerry Awn, Danny Garrett, Guy Juke and Sam Yeates.

Hennepin Theatre Trust announced STEVE EARLE AND THE DUKES will bring the Copperhead Road 30th Anniversary Tour to Minneapolis at the historic Pantages Theatre (710 Hennepin Ave., Minneapolis) on Wednesday, March 21, 2018 at 7:30 p.m. The Warner Bros. Records artist will celebrate his 1988 release on March 16 in El Dorado, Arkansas through April 15 in Peekskill, New York. The Mastersons will be performing as a special guest.

Frequently referred to as 'the Mount Rushmore of country music,' The Highwaymen was American country music's first bona fide supergroup, an epic quartet of outlaw country's pioneering stars. Celebrating their impact is the same band the company engaged to pay toe-tapping tribute to George Jones in 2016: The Grand Tour, led by guitarist and vocalist Larry Tobias of New York City and featuring Andrew Crowe, who last graced the Bangor Opera House stage in Rock of Ages (2016) and previously starred in Duck Hunter Shoots Angel (2016) and Ring of Fire: The Music of Johnny Cash (2015).
