The world premiere of a funny, touching and thought-provoking new comedy about art by Stephen Sachs is next up at the multiple award-winning Fountain Theatre.

Barrow Street Theatre and Jean Doumanian Productions launch a summer music series at the Barrow Street Theatre with a concert of new music by acclaimed composer Todd Almond. Todd Almond: Wyoming and Parts of Kansas, is a travelogue-in-song event inspired by the songwriter's journey across the American plains. Special Guest Maria Dizzia (In The Next Room or the vibrator play, Drunken City) and musicians will join Almond in this one-of-a-kind musical story telling event for one-night only on Monday, May 9th at 8:00 p.m. at the Barrow Street Theatre (27 Barrow Street). Running time is 85 minutes.

Executive Producer Lou Spisto today announced that theater director Lear deBessonet and writer Todd Almond have developed a new music theater event, Odyssey, in celebration of The Old Globe's 75th anniversary.

Naked Angels company members Sarah Jessica Parker and Matthew Broderick are Honorary Co-Chairs for the event. Conceived as an imagined history of Naked Angels - and promising to be bigger than all of the company's previous parties put together - One Big Ball will be a frivolous and inauthentic romp through Naked Angels' 25 years, written and performed by Naked Angels members, with many friends and surprise guests. Naked Angels company member and Tony Award-winner Joe Mantello directs the evening.

According to Deadline.com, Tony Award winning playwright Warren Leight is on board to create a new medical series for FOX. Acting as consulting producers for the project are Lori Andrews and Jon Shestack.
