The box office for the upcoming Broadway production of Irena's Vow, the new play by Dan Gordon, starring four-time Tony nominee, and three-time Drama Desk Award-winner Tovah Feldshuh, and directed by Michael Parva, will open on Monday morning, February 23rd, 10:00 a.m., at the Walter Kerr Theatre (219 West 48th Street, NYC).

Metropolitan Playhouse, the East Village company committed to exploring contemporary America through its theatrical past, presents the first New York revival of Power by Arthur Arent, a ?Living Newspaper? developed through the WPA?s Federal Theater Project. The 5th Avenue presents the classic American Musical Hello Dolly!, with music and lyrics by Jerry Herman and book by Michael Stewart, from the play The Matchmaker by Thornton Wilder. Set in New York in the 1890s, the show tells the story of the irrepressible Dolly Levi, matchmaker and social phenomenon, who is employed by grumpy small-town merchant Horace Vandergelder to find him a wife. But instead of helping Horace, the formidable widow assists his two hapless clerks Barnaby and Cornelius to find love and adventure in New York, while setting her sights on Vandergelder herself! Brimming with exuberant songs like ?Put On Your Sunday Clothes,? ?Before the Parade Passes By,? ?It Only Takes a Moment,? and of course the title song, Hello Dolly! celebrates the exuberant philosophies of seizing the moment and spreading one?s wealth around.

Broadway In Chicago is thrilled to present A BRONX TALE, written by and starring Academy Award?-nominated actor Chazz Palminteri. This funny and touching memoir about a young man's experiences growing up in the Bronx during the 1960s will play at the Ford Center for the Performing Arts, Oriental Theatre for a limited engagement March 10 - 22, 2009.
A BRONX TALE is produced by GO Productions. Set design is by James Noone, lighting design is by Paul Gallo, and original music and sound design is by John Gromada. Mr. Palminteri's wardrobe is supplied by Italian menswear designer ISAIA.

The heads of the English departments of Cornell, Princeton, and Yale Universities have chosen Randy Gener, Senior Editor of American Theatre magazine, to receive the annual George Jean Nathan Award for Dramatic Criticism. Preview performances will begin on Tuesday, March 10, 2009, at the Walter Kerr Theatre (219 West 48th Street), with an opening night set for Sunday, March 29th at 6:30 pm.

Carey Mulligan, who stars as Nina in the Royal Court Theatre's critically-acclaimed production of Anton Chekhov's The Seagull, will be interviewed this weekend on NY 1 'On Stage.' 'On Stage' airs Saturday, November 29 and Sunday, November 30 from 9:30 AM-10:00 AM, and again from 7:30 PM-8:00 PM. It also airs Monday, December 1 from 9:30 PM-10:00 PM and Tuesday, December 2 from 12:30 AM-1:00 AM.
