Hush The Musical Plays The Triad Theatre 5/19-26

Colony Theatre Presents MOONLIGHT AND MAGNOLIAS, Closes 3/6

The Colony Theatre Company is excited to present the fourth production of its 36th season, MOONLIGHT AND MAGNOLIAS, written by Ron Hutchinson and directed by Andrew Barnicle (Celadine, Gunmetal Blues). MOONLIGHT AND MAGNOLIAS will close Sunday, March 6 at The Colony Theatre, 555 North Third Street (at Cypress) adjacent to the Burbank Town Center.

Walnut Street Theater Presents AMADEUS, Closes 3/6

Walnut Street Theatre continues its landmark 202nd season with an all-new production of Peter Shaffer's AMADEUS, winner of the 1981 Tony Award for Best Play and 1985 Academy Award for Best Picture. Directed by Malcolm Black, AMADEUS closes March 6th on the WST Mainstage.

Emelin Theatre Announces March 2011 Events

The Emelin Theatre, located in Mamaroneck, New York, and founded in 1972, is the oldest continuously operating performing arts theater in Westchester County.

ROCK OF AGES Hanggi Helms AND THE CURTAIN RISES at Signature Theatre; Begins 3/17

Virginia's Tony Award-winning Signature Theatre, through its groundbreaking American Musical Voices Project (AMVP), announces the world premiere of the musical comedy And the Curtain Rises (formerly known as Wheatley's Folly). Beginning performances on Thursday, March 17, 2011, And the Curtain Rises marks the third production presented as part of Signature's AMVP, the largest commissioning program for new musicals in the country, following Michael John LaChiusa's Giant in 2009 and Ricky Ian Gordon's Sycamore Trees last year. The Washington Post has said that 'Signature's AMVP is the most ambitious embrace of new musical theater in the DC region.'

Media Theatre Presents THE LAST FIVE YEARS, Closes 2/27

Jason Robert Brown's intimate musical 'The Last Five Years' will close at The Media Theatre February 27. The one act show tells the story of an aspiring actress who meets and falls in love with a novelist. At The Media Theatre, Jennie Eisenhower portrays Cathy, the aspiring actress. Wallingford's Marcus Stevens takes on the role of the novelist, Jamie.

Streisand Impressionist Steven Brinberg Plays Plam Springs, 2/26-27

New York singer and actor Steven Brinberg has garnered acclaim from audiences and critics from around the World as the quintessential Barbra Streisand impersonator in the business today. He has toured across the globe in theatres, concert halls and clubs for over a decade and was chosen by Ms. Streisand's management to make a surprise personal appearance at her friend Donna Karan's birthday party. Now, Desert audiences will have not one - but two opportunities to experience Simply Barbra, Saturday, February 26th at a 9 PM at Blame It On Midnight in Palm Springs, and on Sunday, February 27th at 2 PM at the Arthur Newman Theatre at The Joslyn Center in Palm Desert

Arizona Theatre Company Presents LOST IN YONKERS, 2/26-3/19

This spring Arizona Theatre Company journeys to the New York boroughs and into Neil Simon's masterwork, LOST IN YONKERS, the fourth installment of ATC's AMERICA PLAYS! Celebrating Great American Stories series. Winner of the Pulitzer Prize and the Tony Award for Best Play, LOST IN YONKERS is as funny as it is poignant and is certain to leave you spellbound with laughter and tears. Featuring Tony Award-winner and Arizona favorite Judy Kaye, and directed by Samantha K. Wyer, LOST IN YONKERS plays in Tucson at the Temple of Music and Art from February 26 through March 19, 2011. It continues its run in Phoenix at the Herberger Theater Center from March 24 through April 10, 2011.
