Endemol, a world leader in entertainment programming, today announced it has acquired distribution rights outside of the U.S. to Hot in Cleveland, the highly anticipated new original half hour sitcom produced by MTV Networks Entertainment Group for TV Land.

TV Land's critically-acclaimed first original sitcom 'Hot in Cleveland,' got off to an extraordinary start for its premiere (Wednesday, June 16th at 10 p.m ET/PT), making network history as the highest rated and most watched telecast ever, according to Nielsen Fast National data. 'Hot in Cleveland' broke network records and attracted nearly 5 million total viewers and gave the network stellar, significant triple digit gains across all demos for the night.

TV Land announced today that in addition to the star-studded ensemble cast of its first original sitcom, 'Hot in Cleveland,' Wayne Knight ('Seinfeld,' '3rd Rock from the Sun'), Shirley Knight ('As Good As It Gets,' 'Divine Secrets of the Ya-Ya Sisterhood'), Huey Lewis ('Duets,' 'Just Shoot Me!'), Hal Linden ('Barney Miller'), Susan Lucci ('All My Children'), Juliet Mills ('Nanny and the Professor'), Carl Reiner ('The Dick Van Dyke Show'), John Schneider ('Dukes of Hazzard,' 'Smallville,') and Amy Yasbeck ('Wings') will make guest appearances during its first season. TV Land announced today that it has greenlit 10 episodes of the original sitcom 'Retired At 35' starring esteemed comedy and drama actor George Segal. The sitcom is a TV Land PRIME original production and is the network's second venture into scripted comedy series along with 'Hot in Cleveland,' which premieres on June 16, 2010.
