York Theatre Company to Host Reading of Joshua Ellis' CALL MY PUBLICIST! Next Month

The York Theatre Company, as part of its acclaimed Developmental Readings Series, presents Call My Publicist! - The Starry Education of a Broadway Press Agent, written and performed by Joshua Ellis. This premiere reading, directed by Gretchen Cryer will be presented for one-performance only on Wednesday evening, April 8, 2015 at 7:00 p.m. at The York Theatre Company at Saint Peter's (Entrance on East 54th Street, just east of Lexington Avenue). The reading is open to the public with a suggested donation of $5.00.

Jennifer Roberts to Return to Don't Tell Mama, 4/7 & 9

After successful shows at Judy's Chelsea and Don't Tell Mama, Jennifer Roberts is back to celebrate her love for Manhattan with two shows at New York hotspot 'Don't Tell Mama.' Musical Director Tedd Firth will join Jennifer along with bass player Ritt Henn (www.ritthenn.com) on April 7th and 9th.

Connecticut Playmakers to Stage MOONLIGHT AND MAGNOLIAS, 3/20-28

The madcap antics behind a script overhaul that led to the iconic film 'Gone With The Wind' unravel as comedic farce in the first of at least two productions Connecticut Playmakers is offering for its 68th year of Broadway-style theater in Greenwich. The play is called 'Moonlight and Magnolias' and is to be staged under Dan Friedman's direction at the First Congregational Church (108 Sound Beach Ave.) in Greenwich March 20-22 and March 27-28.

John Tartaglia Leads BUYER & CELLAR, Opening Tonight at George Street Playhouse

George Street Playhouse and Artistic Director David Saint welcome New Jersey native John Tartaglia, from the original Broadway cast of Avenue Q, as well as TV's Sesame Street and the Emmy Award - nominated Johnny and the Sprites to New Brunswick as the sole cast member of Buyer & Cellar, the fourth production of the New Brunswick theatre's current season. Mr. Tartaglia will take the fictional journey to the fictional version of Barbra Streisand's fictional basement through March 29. Opening night is set for tonight, March 6. Mr. Saint helms the production.

Circo de Nada to Present HENRY FOUR, 4/3-4

Circo de Nada presents a very limited engagement of Henry Four running April 3 and 4, 2015 at Brooklyn Arts Exchange (BAX), located at 421 Fifth Avenue between 7th and 8th Streets in Park Slope. Tony Winner Katie Finneran & Maulik Pancholy Will Join Cast of Broadway's IT'S ONLY A PLAY

Producers Tom Kirdahy, Roy Furman, and Ken Davenport announced today that Broadway's record-breaking, star-studded smash hit comedy It's Only a Play by 4-time Tony Award winner Terrence McNally, will welcome two new stars. Beginning January 7, 2015, two-time Tony Award winner Katie Finneran and Screen Actors Guild Award-winning "30 Rock" alum Maulik Pancholy-in his Broadway debut-will assume the roles of 'Julia Budder' and 'Frank Finger', respectively.
