May 13th 1985, is now recorded in the annals of history, as this was the day Philadelphia Mayor W. Wilson Goode, approved the dropping of a bomb on a row house in a residential neighborhood. The raging fire that followed claimed the lives of eleven MOVE members, six adults and five children. Among the adults killed was Frank Africa, son and only child of author, Louise Leaphart James. Also lost to her was her brother John Africa. James' book chronicles events that would ultimately lead to so shocking an end.
