Levy and Campbell Host SOUTHERN SONGBOOK Valentine's Show

A very special Valentines-themed Southern Songbook concert, Desire and Death: Love songs on yearning and loss, will be hosted by Honeydogs frontman Adam Levy and the Local Show's Dave Campbell on Monday, February 14 at 7:30pm. Guest musicians include John Munson, Aby Wolf, Darren Jackson, Alicia Wiley, Holly Newsom, Alexei Casselle, Chastity Brown, Minor Kingdom (Kristian Melom), Grant Cutler and Ryan Paul.

NIGGA FILES Premieres at Shubin Theatre, 1/11

With the 2010-2011 school year at its midway point writer/director Donja R. Love's compelling new play, The Nigga Files, takes an introspective look into the education system and inner-city youth. The Nigga Files workshopped before a sold out audience in September and was honored 1st runner up for the coveted 'Best Play' award in the inaugural Philly Urban Theatre Festival. On January 11, 2011, and for eight shows ending on the 16th, Love, in conjunction with Kash Goins of GoKash Productions, is premiering the final, revised version of The Nigga Files at The Shubin Theatre on 4th and Bainbridge in Philadelphia.

Red Bull Theater Presents WITCH OF EDMONTON Revival, 1/25

Red Bull Theater (Jesse Berger, Artistic Director) will present The Witch of Edmonton, adapted and directed by Mr. Berger, for a limited engagement beginning January 25th at Theater at St. Clement's (423 West 46th Street, between 9th and 10th Avenues).

Colony Theatre Presents MOONLIGHT AND MAGNOLIAS 2/2-3/6

The Santaland Diaries Plays Hennepin Stages 11/26-12/31

The Santaland Diaries, the stage adaptation of David Sedaris' acerbic and hilarious account of his stint working as a Christmas elf in Macy's 'SantaLand,' runs at Hennepin Stages in downtown Minneapolis, Friday, Nov. 26-Friday, Dec. 31, 2010.

Irwin, Skinner Lead The Clowns and Mr. Beckett at Westport Country Playhouse

Bill Irwin, actor, director, writer and clown, whose work has been honored with Tony, Drama Desk, Outer Critics Circle, Barrymore and Helen Hayes Awards, and Doug Skinner, musician, puppeteer and composer, who wrote and played the music for several of Mr. Irwin's shows, will appear in "The Clowns and Mr. Beckett," an evening of madcap routines, shtick and novelty songs, at Westport Country Playhouse on Saturday, December 11, 8 p.m.

Joe Cole, Kerron Darby, Holli Dempsey Join Bush Theater's School Season

The Bush Theatre is delighted to announce that Downton Abbey's Joanne Froggatt and Brick Lane's Christopher Simpson will be joined by Joe Cole, Kerron Darby, Holli Dempsey, Mandheep Dillon, Otto Farrant, Susannah Harker, Richard Henders, Claire Price, and Andrew Woodall in the Schools Season: The Knowledge by John Donnelly and Little Platoons by Steve Waters.
