A shocking and at times farcical tale of how an environmental lawsuit turned into the world's biggest fraud is revealed in a new play. The world premiere of The $18-Billion Prize, based on the true story of rainforest natives and their New York lawyer "fighting for justice" against one of the world's biggest oil companies, opens May 19 at the Phoenix Theatre, where performances continue through June 3.

On a Japanese beach, teenage sisters Hanako (Kirsty Rider) and Reiko (Kae Alexander) are caught up in a storm. Reiko survives while Hanako is lost to the sea. Set in Japan and North Korea, Francis Turnly's epic new thriller is directed by Artistic Director of the Tricycle Theatre Indhu Rubasingham in a co-production with the Tricycle Theatre.
Female Parts Shorts: A Woman Alone, The Immigrant and A Mother is a collection of short plays directed by Karena Johnson, Artistic Director of Hoxton Hall. Johnson directs Gehane Strehler in A Woman Alone, Clare Perkins in The Immigrant and Rebecca Saire in A Mother. The three monologues are performed in sequence, opening on Thursday 15 March, with previews from Tuesday 13 March, running until Saturday 31 March.

In 2016, following a 13-week final repertory season, the plays were filmed in front of a live audience in London and edited for the screen to include separately shot, hand-held and GoPro footage breaking the formality of the traditional live camera "capture" of stage productions.
