Jobsite Theater has announces the 2017-18 season, our 15th as resident theater company of the Straz Center in downtown Tampa.

Award-winning Retro Productions, under the Artistic Direction of Heather E. Cunningham, will present the critically acclaimed play, And Miss Reardon Drinks A Little. The production runs May 5th through May 20th at the Gene Frankel Theatre. Shay Gines, a Founding Executive Director of the New York Innovative Theatre Awards, directs. This is the 50th anniversary of And Miss Reardon Drinks A Little. The play was originally produced in Los Angles in 1967, and in 1971 the comedy opened on Broadway at the Morosco Theatre.

Japan Society Gallery announces the U.S. premiere of A Third Gender: Beautiful Youths in Japanese Prints, the first exhibition in North America devoted to the variety of gender and sexual expression in traditional Japanese society by focusing on wakashu, attractive male youths who, the exhibitions reveals, constituted a distinct gender category during the Edo period (1603-1868).

Founded by Frédéric L'Epée in 2002 (previously founder of the bands Shylock in the 70's and Philharmonie in the 90's), Yang is an instrumental quartet which compositions melt guitar counterpoints, odd time signatures, New Music with a hint of oriental modes all together with a powerful rock pulse.

Francois Archambault, the Governor General Award-winning Quebecois playwright, receives the Quebec English-language premiere of his 2015 play, You Will Remember Me (Tu te souviendras de moi), at Centaur Theatre from March 7th to April 2nd, 2017. The coincidentally titled production is the last play that Roy Surette will direct as Centaur's Artistic and Executive Director before returning to the West coast in June to helm Touchstone Theatre.

The National Yiddish Theatre Folksbiene (NYTF) presents a number of unique shows this spring and summer as part of its 2017 season - the company's 102nd consecutive season.

Berkeley Repertory Theatre today announced the world premiere production of Roe written by Lisa Loomer and directed by Bill Rauch. Roe is a co-production with the Oregon Shakespeare Festival and Arena Stage.

Touchstone Theatre presents a new one-woman show by Ensemble Member Emma Ackerman, entitled The Complete and Authoritative Tour of Holy Stuff. The show is an abstract exploration of the varied things we consider holy in our lives and runs March 2-12, 2017 in Touchstone's home theatre on the South Side of Bethlehem.

Premiering on Today, March 1 (10:00-11:00pm ET/PT) on Spike, TIME: THE KALIEF ROWDER STORY is a compelling, six-part documentary event series tells the story of Kalief Browder, a 16 year old African-American student who spent three years in jail on Rikers Island without ever being convicted of a crime.

American Players Theatre (APT) announces its 38th Summer Festival Season, June 10 - October 22, 2017, a diverse lineup of eight classical and contemporary plays in repertory that includes the return and work of visiting Chicago director and Jeff Award-winner William Brown taking on Anton Chekhov's Three Sisters in APT's newly renovated flagship 1140-seat outdoor amphitheater on the Hill.
