Lyric Opera of Chicago announced casting for the remaining principal roles in its new production of Rodgers and Hammerstein's Carousel. Matthew Hydzik will portray Enoch Snow alongside Tony Award winner Jarrod Emick as Jigger Craigin, two-time Tony Award nominee Charlotte d'Amboise as Mrs. Mullin, and two-time Tony Award nominee Tony Roberts as the Starkeeper. Carousel will run April 10 to May 3 at the Civic Opera House (opening night April 11).
Luna Stage begins 2015 with a revival of A Perfect Ganesh, Terrence McNally's beautiful story of love and redemption. A Perfect Ganesh opens to previews on Thursday January 29, 2015 and runs Thursdays through Sundays through February 22nd. Opening night is Saturday January 31, 2015. The announcer's voice which leaves fans—wherever they might be—perched at the edge of their seats is inextricably linked with his team, like Notre Dame's Tony Roberts or the legendary Harry Caray of the Chicago Cubs. They maintain a bond of trust with fans while propelling them into the throes of victory or softening the blows of defeat.

On July 23 and 24, performers Jim Caruso and Billy Stritch (along with bass player Steve Doyle) took their swinging, sophisticated nightclub act to the Eugene O'Neill Theater Center Cabaret & Performance Conference in Waterford, CT. Over the years Mr. Harnick's work has been represented on the Goodspeed stage with Fiorello! (1985), She Loves Me (1978), The Apple Tree (1999), and this summer's 50th Anniversary production of Fiddler on the Roof at the Goodspeed Opera House. The award will be presented by longtime friend and star of stage and screen, two time Tony Award-winner Tony Roberts (Broadway's Promises, Promises; They're Playing Our Song; Victor/Victoria; Cabaret).
