An all-star Philadelphia cast kicks off Philadelphia Theatre Company's 40th Anniversary season with the Pulitzer Prize finalist Detroit by Lisa D'Amour running October 10-November 9 at Philadelphia Theatre Company's Suzanne Roberts Theatre (Broad and Lombard Streets). Directed by Maria Mileaf, the cast features K.O. DelMarcelle, Tom McCarthy, Genevieve Perrier, Steven Rishard, and Matteo J. Scammell.
CBS Sports Sets Broadcast Pairings for 2014 NFL Season

The CBS Television Network will begin its 55th year of broadcasting the NFL with Jim Nantz, Phil Simms and Tracy Wolfson leading THE NFL ON CBS into the Network's 2014 NFL season. Nantz, Simms and Wolfson will call the full slate of Thursday Night Football games on CBS and the NFL Network, along with selected Sunday games on CBS. Sean McManus, Chairman, CBS Sports, and Executive Producer, THE NFL ON CBS, announced today several changes to the 2014 announcer line-up along with the complete list of broadcast pairings.

The Village Voice, the nation's largest alternative weekly newspaper, will hold the 59th Annual Obie Awards tonight, Monday, May 19, 2014, at Webster Hall in the East Village, 125 East 11th Street. The Obies will be co-hosted by the distinguished actress Tamara Tunie, whose many memorable stage performances include the lead in the Public Theater's Troilus and Cressida, while her film and television credits include Devil's Advocate, FLIGHT, City Hall, Snake Eyes, Eve's Bayou, The Caveman's Valentine, The Red Road, 'Law and Order: SVU', '24', 'Sex and The City', 'NYPD Blue'.
Walt Disney Records to Release MILLION DOLLAR ARM Soundtrack Next Week

Walt Disney Records will release the original motion picture soundtrack for Disney's 'Million Dollar Arm' digitally on May 13 th and physically on May 19 th. The film will be released in the U.S. on May 16 th, 2014. Featuring music composed and performed by two-time Academy Award-winning composer A. R. Rahman, the soundtrack includes collaborations with Australian hip-hop artist Iggy Azalea, Grammy-nominated rapper Wale and Scottish singer-songwriter KT Tunstall. Described by Variety as a 'jubilant wall-to-wall song score,' Rahman has created a powerful and driving sound that blends classic Indian styles and instruments with rap, rock and electronica delivering a celebratory soundscape to America's favorite sport.

Tony Award-winning and Academy Award-nominated director Julie Taymor will be the FIRST TIME FEST'S 2014 John Huston Award For Achievement In Cinema recipient, announced FTF Co-Founders Johanna Bennett and Mandy Ward. Ms. Taymor will also be represented in the Fest's 'First Exposure' Retrospective Program where she will attend to present and discuss with the audience her first feature film, Titus.

Now entering its third mainstage season, the Eagle Theatre of Hammonton, N.J., is looking to raise the bar. For 2014, the company nearly doubled its operating budget, expanded the run of performances from 12 to 15 per production, and recruited several of the region's most accomplished actors, including Broadway veteran Krissy Fraelich, Barrymore Award laureate Tom Mccarthy and national recording artist Brian Bortnick.
