Meredith Patterson of Broadway's WHITE CHRISTMAS and 42ND STREET will join the cast of 'A Very MARY Holiday', Benefiting Broadway Speaks OUT & The Ali Forney Center.

THE HAPPY EMBALMER -- a World-Premiere new musical with book, music and lyrics by Mark Noonan and Nick Oddy, directed and choreographed by Kelly Devine -- is presented by The New York Musical Theatre Festival, starting October 6, 2009 at Theatre Row's Acorn Theatre (410 West 42nd Street, btw 9th and 10th Avenues) in New York City.

A Very MARY Holiday, a benefit for Broadway Speaks OUT & The Ali Forney Center, will take place on November 30th at Dixon Place (161 Chrystie Street, NYC).

On Monday, September 14th at 7:00pm, the Cathedral Church of Saint John the Divine, one of the nation's leading religious and secular landmarks (Amsterdam & 112th Street), is pleased to host the 13th annual BROADWAY BLESSING, an interfaith service that has been bringing the theatre community together every September since 1997.

Tonight, Friday, July 10th THE AFTER PARTY is thrilled to welcome back Guys and Dolls' TITUSS BURGESS plus we say goodbye (but only for five months!) to ALYSHA UMPHRESS. Alysha has been cast in the new Green Day musical American Idiot. She leaves us to begin rehearsals before heading to Berkeley Repertory Theatre, which is where the show will premiere.
