BWW Preview: LAST TRAIN TO NIBROC Pulls into Kechi Playhouse

LAST TRAIN TO NIBROC, a play by Arlene Hutton, is being produced by Just in Time Theatre Productions opening April 22nd-23 at 8 p.m. and Sunday, April 24 at 2:30 pm at the Kechi Playhouse (100 E. 2016 Shaw Festival to Open with Pulitzer Prize Winner OUR TOWN

The Shaw Festival's 55th season begins Saturday at 2 p.m. with the first preview of Thornton Wilder's beloved play Our Town. Molly Smith, artistic director of Washington, D.C's Tony award-winning Arena Stage, returns to The Shaw to breathe vivid, new life into this classic piece of theatre - a talent she displayed so brilliantly in her production of My Fair Lady in 2011.

Official: Oscar Isaac to Play Title Role of Theatre for a New Audience's HAMLET in 2017

Theatre for a New Audience announces that as part of its 2016-2017 season at Polonsky Shakespeare Center, Golden Globe Award winner Oscar Isaac will play the title role in Hamlet staged by Sam Gold.  Oscar Isaac and Sam Gold last worked together on Zoe Kazan's We Live Here in 2011.Hamlet is their first collaboration on Shakespeare and their first production with Theatre for a New Audience. Hamlet will begin previews on June 4, 2017 for an opening June 22 and run through July 30.

Tickets on Sale for THE BRIDGES OF MADISON COUNTY at Kravis Center This Spring

One of the most romantic stories ever written, THE BRIDGES OF MADISON COUNTY won the 2014 Tony Awards® for Best Original Score and Best Orchestrations. Theatre for a New Audience has announced complete casting for A DOLL'S HOUSE, in an adaptation by Thornton Wilder not seen in New York since its Broadway premiere in 1937, and August Strindberg's THE FATHER, in a new version by Scottish author David Greig (Strindberg's Creditors at BAM) commissioned by Theatre for a New Audience.
