World Premiere of New Musical THE ETIENNE SISTERS Set for Theatre Royal Stratford East

After the huge success of the critically acclaimed Klook's Last Stand (The Park Theatre), writing duo Che Walker and Anoushka Lucas, bring the world premiere of their new play with music The Etienne Sisters to Theatre Royal Stratford East. This all-female cast features strong London talent, harmonising to a fresh and contemporary soulful jazz score.  

Full Cast Announced for MRS HENDERSON PRESENTS at Theatre Royal Bath

Rehearsals started today for the new British musical MRS HENDERSON PRESENTS, starring TRACIE BENNETT (taking over from Janie Dee who has had to withdraw for personal reasons), which concludes the Theatre Royal Bath summer season, Saturday 15th August - Saturday 5th September, prior to a West End run.

West End's AMERICAN IDIOT, Starring Amelia Lily, Announces Full Cast

Full casting is announced for Green Day's explosive award-winning Broadway musical American Idiot as it blasts into the UK from 17 July, at The Arts Theatre, Leicester Square. The full cast are Luke Baker (Theo), Natasha Barnes (Heather), Alexis Gerred (Tunny), Llandyll Gove (Gerard), Raquel Jones (Extraordinary girl), Natasha Karp (Alysha) Robyn Mellor (Libby), Lucas Rush (St. Jimmy), Steve Rushton (Will), Aaron Sidwell (Johnny) and Ross William Wild (Joshua). They join the previously announced X Factor star, Amelia Lily who is playing Whatshername.

Cast Set for Park Theatre's HATCHED 'N' DISPATCHED

An all-star cast is announced today for the world premiere of Hatched 'n' Dispatched, a black comedy set in the industrial north of England by Gemma Page and Michael Kirk.

ORANGE IS THE NEW BLACK's Danielle Brooks to Make Broadway Debut Opposite Jennifer Hudson & Cynthia Erivo in THE COLOR PURPLE

DANIELLE BROOKS, who plays 'Taystee' on the hit TV show, Orange Is the New Black, will make her Broadway debut as 'Sofia' in the upcoming Broadway musical revival of THE COLOR PURPLE. A graduate of the Juilliard School, Ms. Brooks joins the previously announced JENNIFER HUDSON and CYNTHIA ERIVO in the critically acclaimed staging from London's Menier Chocolate Factory.

BRITAIN'S GOT BHANGRA Set for King's Theatre Glasgow

After acclaimed runs in 2010 and 2011, the five-star hit musical Britain's Got Bhangra will return for a UK Tour this Autumn in a brand new production, playing at the King's Theatre Glasgow from Monday 21 to Saturday 26 September 2015.

This compelling political thriller shines a light on journalistic truth amid the atrocity of the Rwandan genocide. The production will run at Theatre503, The Latchmere, 503 Battersea Park Road, London SW11 3BW from today 12th May through Saturday 6th June 2015. Press Night: Friday 15th May 2015.

Over the last year, many productions have been revived to commemorate the 100th anniversary of the First World War. Oh What A Lovely War , originally produced by Joan Littlewood at the Theatre Royal Stratford East, is another example of this and is playing the final week of its UK tour at Birmingham Rep.

Shakespeare's Globe Names Kneehigh's Emma Rice New Artistic Director

Shakespeare's Globe today announces Emma Rice as its new Artistic Director. In April 2016, Emma will take over from Dominic Dromgoole, who will complete the recently opened Summer season and one more Winter season in the Sam Wanamaker Playhouse, departing once the Globe to Globe Hamlet tour completes its two-year adventure next April.

OH WHAT A LOVELY WAR Coming to Birmingham Rep Next Month

One of the most famous shows of the last century, Joan Littlewood's legendary musical Oh What A Lovely War is to come to Birmingham Repertory Theatre. Directed by University of Birmingham graduate, Terry Johnson, the hit revival comes to The REP from 5 to 9 May, as the final venue the show's UK tour.
