The new hit musical comedy, VOCA PEOPLE, currently playing to standing ovations at Westside Theatre, will be honored by Dylan's Candy Bar (1011 Third Avenue at 60th Street) with a new Voca Ice Cream Flavor. 'Voca Vanilla' is Dylan's classic Vanilla Ice Cream which will be renamed and makes its debut Friday, October 7th at 2pm at Dylan's. 'Voca Vanilla' will be unveiled with a performance in the cafe by the white-faced, red-lipped VOCA PEOPLE. This is the first time Dylan's Candy Bar has renamed an ice cream flavor.

Steve Solomon's international hit comedy My Mother's Italian, My Father's Jewish & I'm in Therapy! starts performances next week starring Tony Award-winning stage and television star Paul Kreppel. The hilarious show has a 12-week run at the Bathurst St. Theatre from October 12, 2011-January 1, 2012. (The media performance is Wednesday, October 19 at 7pm.). Producer Daryl Roth announced today that three-time Tony Award nominee Dee Hoty (Footloose; Mamma Mia) and TV and stage regulars Samantha Mathis (American Psycho; 33 Variations) and Concetta Tomei ('Providence'; Lincoln Center's Clean House), will join the next cast of the hit Off Broadway show Love, Loss, and What I Wore. Current cast member Zuzanna Szadkowski ('Gossip Girl') will stay on, also joining previously announced actress and TV personality La La Anthony ('La La's Full Court Life') in a run that begins Wednesday, October 5 through November 6, 2011 at the Westside Theatre (407 West 43 Street).
