Chicago's Marriott Theatre Premieres FOR THE BOYS, Opens Tonight

The Marriott Theatre has long been known for fostering new works and bringing thrilling world premiere musicals to its stage. This August, The Marriott Theatre (10 Marriott Drive, Lincolnshire) will present the world premiere of FOR THE BOYS; based on the 1991 Twentieth Century Fox film which starred Bette Midler (Academy Award nomination) and James Caan.

THE SCREWTAPE LETTERS Comes to Miami, 11/12

THE SCREWTAPE LETTERS, the provocative and wickedly funny theatrical adaptation of the C.S. Lewis novel about spiritual warfare from a demon's point of view, will be presented for one day only at Miami's Olympia Theater at the Gusman Center for the Performing Arts, 174 East Flagler Street, on Saturday, November 12 at 4 p.m. and 8 p.m.

The international hit comedy My Mother's Italian, My Father's Jewish & I'm in Therapy! is heading to Toronto's Bathurst St. Theatre for a 12-week engagement October 12, 2011-January 1, 2012, its producers announced today.

THE SCREWTAPE LETTERS, the provocative and wickedly funny theatrical adaptation of the C.S. Lewis novel about spiritual warfare from a demon's point of view, will return to Dallas at the Majestic Theatre, 1925 Elm Street due to popular demand.

Directors Guild of America to Honor Nora Ephron

Nora Ephron will receive DGA Honors, according to The Hollywood Reporter. Ephron is a screenwriters and directors. She recently wrote and directed the hit movie Julie & Julia, and has received Academy Award nominations for best original screenplay for the immensely popular and critically acclaimed When Harry Met Sally, Silkwood, and Sleepless in Seattle, which she also directed.

THE SCREWTAPE LETTERS, the provocative and wickedly funny theatrical adaptation of the C.S. Lewis novel about spiritual warfare from a demon's point of view, will be presented in a limited engagement at Irvine Barclay Theatre, 4242 Campus Drive, adjacent to University of California Irvine, from July 21 through July 24. The production returns to Southern California after selling out in Los Angeles and San Diego earlier this year.

SCREWTAPE LETTERS Comes to Boston 12/2-3

THE SCREWTAPE LETTERS, the provocative and wickedly funny theatrical adaptation of the C.S. Lewis novel about spiritual warfare from a demon's point of view, will be presented for three performances only at the Cutler Majestic Theatre at Emerson College, 219 Tremont Street in Boston, on Friday, December 2 at 8 p.m. and Saturday, December 3 at 4 p.m. and 8 p.m.

Anne Meara, La La Anthony, et al. Join LOVE, LOSS, AND WHAT I WORE

Producer Daryl Roth announced today that Love, Loss, and What I Wore will welcome La La Anthony, Marylouise Burke, Maddie Corman and Yeardley Smith in upcoming casts and that Ann Harada, Anne Meara and Ashley Austin Morris will return to the hit Off Broadway show, now playing at the Westside Theatre (407 West 43 Street).
