VOCA PEOPLE (www.VocaPeopleNYC.com), the new musical currently performing at The Westside Theatre (407 W. 43rd Street, Upstairs), just performed at the 2011 Muscular Dystrophy Association (MDA) Telethon airing live at the South Point Casino in Las Vegas.

Hosted this year by Nancy O'Dell ("Entertainment Tonight"), Alison Sweeney ("The Biggest Loser"), Jann Carl ("Entertainment Tonight"), and Nigel Lythgoe ("So You Think You Can Dance"), VOCA PEOPLE were joined in the Telethon by Jennifer Lopez Celine Dion, Lady Antebellum, Martina McBride, Steven Tyler, Randy Jackson, Jordin Sparks, Greyson Chance. Darius Rucker, and Richie Sambora.

On the telecast, VOCA PEOPLE performed a medley of songs from their critically acclaimed off-broadway show.

Performed by eight snow-white ruby-lipped aliens with perfect harmony, there are no musical instruments, only vocals. VOCA PEOPLE believe music is the source of life that brings harmony, joy and refueling. A performance bursts with over 70 well known songs that create vocal "fireworks" and leave audiences clapping along and snapping their fingers. VOCA PEOPLE is the musical theater event that bridges languages, cultures, and planets.

WOR Radio cheers "GREAT FUN! You'll love it," The Village Voice exclaims "Cirque du Soleil Meets Manhattan Transfer!" and Broadway World applauds "You Can't Help But Marvel At Their Sheer Talent!"

Originally a YouTube sensation, VOCA PEOPLE has had intergalactic success with sold-out tours in Europe, South America, the Middle East, Mars and Uranus.

The show is created and directed by Lior Kalfo with musical direction and arrangements by Shai Fishman. The show has sound design by Naor Ben Meir, lighting design by Roy Milo, and costume design by Hana Yefet.

Tickets for VOCA PEOPLE range from $30 - $79.50 with premium seating available. Tickets can be purchased by visiting Telecharge.com or calling (212) 239-6200.
