Academy Award and GRAMMY(R) Award-winning superstar Jennifer Hudson will perform on the BOSTON POPS FIREWORKS SPECTACULAR, an entertainment special to be broadcast live from the Charles River Esplanade in Boston, Wednesday, July 4 (10:00-11:00 PM, live ET/delayed PT) on the CBS Television Network.

Variety reports that Michael Sucscy ('The Vow') is in negotiations as the possible director of a Beach Boys musical film that would feature a fictional story told through the music of The Beach Boys. Fox 2000 would helm the film. Susannah Grant ('Erin Brockovich') has written an untitled manuscript.

The Ensemble at New Village Arts takes on Shakespeare's broadest farce in THE COMEDY OF ERRORS. Directed by Justin Lang, THE COMEDY OF ERRORS allows the Ensemble to show off its comedic skills. Set in the 1950s as if it were being filmed in front of a "live studio audience", NVA's THE COMEDY OF ERRORS is a tale full of mistaken identity, slapstick humor and romance.
