Jordan Miller to Play Palm Desert, 8/7

Singer and actor Jordan Miller will present his latest one-man cabaret concert 'The Broadway Leading Man' at The Arthur Newman Theatre on August 7th at 2 PM. The show will feature songs made famous by such legends as Howard Keel, John Raitt, Robert Goulet, and Mario Lanza, along with some Broadway history and stories from Miller's own theatrical career.

What we just saw certainly bore little likeness to its initial working draft while some aspects of the production have remained the same, like its central story on the Japanese American experience during and after the World War II internment; and its composer and lyricist Jay Kuo's uplifting and emotionally charged music and lyrics.
