Arguably one of the most complex and intriguing female characters ever written, HEDDA GABLER weaves a mesmerizing tale of a woman trapped in a loveless marriage who is driven by a need for power and freedom.

National Conflict Resolution Center (NCRC) and The Old Globe will co-host "Notes from the Field: Doing Time in Education" written and performed by Anna Deavere Smith for one night only on Monday, June 6 at The Old Globe on the Donald and Darlene Shiley Stage, part of the Conrad Prebys Theatre Center.

Vassar & New York Stage and Film have announced a few of the projects tapped for the upcoming 32nd Powerhouse Season, the annual summer season which stages full productions of new plays, workshop presentations of new plays and musicals, and readings of other works in progress, among other developmental programming.

Ghostlight Records has released the original cast recording of Bright Star, the new musical from Grammy and Emmy Award winner Steve Martin and Grammy-winning singer-songwriter Edie Brickell in digital formats today, Friday, April 29.

A.J. Shively, currently starring in the new Broadway musical BRIGHT STAR by Steve Martin and Edie Brickell, honored Craig and Karen Munk with his performance of “Your Passion.'

Anne-Charlotte Hanes Harvey, local San Diego playwright has the World-Premiere of her original play DINNER WITH MARLENE produced at Lamb's Players Theatre, Coronado beginning today, April 22nd and continuing through May 29th.
