The VOODOO MUSIC + ARTS EXPERIENCE has teamed with Sony X Headphones to present a Saturday, October 27 and Sunday, October 28 webstream from New Orleans' City Park.

ABC's "Jimmy Kimmel Live" is heading home to Kimmel's birthplace, Brooklyn, New York, for a week of late-night shows, October 29 - November 2. Kimmel's guests include notable New Yorkers David Letterman, Chris Rock, Jon Stewart, Stephen Colbert, Kelly Ripa, Tracy Morgan and more.

Now in its 33rd year, the Clearwater Jazz Holiday, taking place from October 18 through 21, 2012 will feature top national artists including Bonnie Raitt , The Avett Brothers, Mindi Abair and Friends and Esperanza Spalding , amongst others. Metallica--one of the most influential and commercially successful rock bands in history, having sold 110 million albums worldwide and playing to millions of fans the world over--have just been confirmed as the Saturday (October 27) headliner for the 2012 VOODOO MUSIC + ARTS EXPERIENCE. This marks the multi-platinum act's first local performance since 2008 and their first New Orleans festival appearance.

Folk artists The Avett Brothers will share the stage with country music legend Randy Travis when CMT presents an all-new episode of CMT CROSSROADS. Meeting and collaborating for the first time on the CMT CROSSROADS stage in Nashville, The Avett Brothers and Randy Travis will perform some of Travis' most famous hits, along with some of The Avett Brothers most memorable tunes including some from their current album, The Carpenter. CMT CROSSROADS: THE AVETT BROTHERS AND RANDY TRAVIS premieres Friday, November 23 at 11:00 p.m., ET/PT.

Milwaukee's Summerfest happens June 27 - July 1 and July 3 - 8, 2012. Following its 1968 debut, Summerfest has evolved into what is now recognized as "The World's Largest Music Festival" and Milwaukee's cornerstone summer celebration, bringing entertainers, artists and approximately 900,000 people from Milwaukee and around the world together each summer. This unforgettable live music experience features over 700 bands, 11 stages, food and beverages and interactive activities, all in a festival setting.

It's officially summer come June and this summer season promises to be an active one at the Frist Center. Next month kicks off with the opening of Metamorphoses: Drawings by Erin Anfinson, Kristi Hargrove, Mark Hosford, and Chris Scarborough in the Conte Community Arts Gallery, and is shortly followed by the opening of Constable: Oil Sketches from the Victoria and Albert Museum on June 22. The Frist has collaborated with Watkins College on an quilting workshop with edgy quilter Ben Venom and the second installment of Frist Fridays on June 29th features Sam Bush with special guest Lera Lynn.
