The classic Python film will debut on Blu-ray today, October 8, 2013 with Digital Copy & UltraViolet, and is packed with extra features including a nostalgic cast reunion featurette The Meaning of Monty Python: 30 th Anniversary Reunion, from Universal Studios Home Entertainment.
The Museum of Modern Art honors Dante Ferretti (Italian, b. 1943) with a large-scale multimedia installation comprising a 12-screen labyrinth featuring projected scenes from his work; original set pieces from the films that earned him three Academy Awards; and a six-month retrospective of 22 films featuring the production designer's career-defining work. DANTE FERRETTI: DESIGN AND CONSTRUCTION FOR THE CINEMA, on view from today, September 28, 2013 through February 9, 2014, features large-scale, original set pieces recovered from sets designed by Ferretti, including the chandeliers from Pier Paolo Pasolini's SALÓ, or THE 120 DAYS OF SODOM (1977) and the massive, illuminated clock from Martin Scorsese's HUGO (2011), as well as sculptural objects created for the Venice Film Festival.
The Milwaukee Symphony Orchestra presents Seductive Ravel this weekend, September 27-28, 2013, led by guest conductor Roberto Abbado. The performances open with Stravinsky's Violin Concerto in D major featuring violinist Augustin Hadelich, followed by Ravel's Daphnis et Chloé with the Milwaukee Symphony Chorus directed by Lee Erickson. Both concerts include Meet the Music, an interactive pre-concert discussion beginning one hour prior to concert start time in the Anello Atrium.

The exhibition Ana Maria Tavares: Deviating Utopias will be on view at the Frist Center for the Visual Arts from Oct. 11, 2013 through Jan. 12, 2014 in the Gordon CAP Gallery. Reflecting her ambivalent feelings regarding Brazil's efforts to modernize during the post-World War II years, Tavares creates works that examine the ambiguities and tensions associated with architecture as an instrument of social progress. Extending this historical narrative to the present, she creates works that inspire the audience to consider the psychological disorientation that often arises in today's public architecture and interior design.

Proctors recently signed a five-year commitment with Cirque Eloize. Proctors joined Cirque Eloize to become the summer home for their productions during the month of August.
