Renowned jazz pianist Edward Simon, the internationally acclaimed Tiptons Saxophone Quartet and Drums and New York trumpeter Brian Groder make their way to the Garden Theatre stage on February 6, 2010, for Jazz on Edge.

Current GRAMMY Award nominees Beyoncé, Fergie and the Black Eyed Peas, Lady Antebellum, Maxwell, and Taylor Swift are the first performers announced for the 52nd Annual GRAMMY Awards telecast.

A series of symposia, screenings, and special events will complement the schedule for Lincoln Center Festival 09 which opens this Tuesday night, July 7, with the U.S. premiere of Le Theatre du Soleil's compassionate Les Éphémères, staged by Ariane Mnouchkine, and the N.Y. premiere of Ivanov by Anton Chekhov, performed by Budapest's Katona József Theatre and staged by Tamás Ascher.

The Kimmel Center opened its doors in December 2001, and has notably and positively transformed the Philadelphia-region performing arts scene.
