The new Broadway musical DOCTOR ZHIVAGO, based on Boris Pasternak's Nobel Prize-winning 20th-century epic Russian masterpiece, will star Tam Mutu making his Broadway debut as the passionate Doctor and poet Yurii Zhivago, Kelli Barrett (Wicked) as the alluring Lara Guishar, Tony Award nominee Tom Hewitt (Rocky Horror Show) as the cynical bourgeois magistrate Viktor Komarovsky, and Paul Nolan (Jesus Chris Superstar) as political radical Pasha Antipov. Full casting to be announced soon.

Según comunican el Teatro de la Maestranza y la Real Orquesta Sinfónica de Sevilla, la caída de un importante patrocinio hace inviable el desarrollo del proyecto. Los conciertos iban a contar con la dirección de Alfonso Casado y las voces de Gerónimo Rauch, Louise Dearman, Tam Mutu y Laura Osnes.

After a hard-fought contest, The Book of Mormon is 2013's BWW:UK Award winner for Best New Musical! Mormon and Charlie and the Chocolate Factory split the bulk of the awards for musical theatre between them - with The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time mirroring its success at this year's Oliviers.

Big West End showstoppers Once, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory and The Book of Mormon are leading the way, with the competition just as tight for the fringe categories - Chichester's The Pajama Game and Southwark Playhouse's Titanic are also garnering the votes at the moment.
