Brooks'musical monster of a show set loose at the Buell

Tony Award winner Karen Ziemba and four-time Tony Award nominee Gregg Edelman star in the upcoming New York premiere production of Steven Dietz's SHOOTING STAR, July 9 through August 1, at Penguin Rep Theatre in Stony Point, New York.

Menier Chocolate Factory Theatre's David Babani told the U.K. Daily Mail's Baz Bamigboye that plans are in progress to produce Stephen Sondheim & John Weidman's ROADSHOW at the venue.

The Westport Country playhouse has announced that Lewis Cleale will join the previously announced Kate Baldwin in their production of I DO! I DO! The production will run from August 10 to August 28.

The Forum Theatre Presents 'They Changed Broadway: From Berlin to Bernstein and Beyond' a benefit performance June 13 at 4pm. 'They Changed Broadway' will benefit Congregation Neve Shalom of Metuchen New Jersey.

Previews will begin today at Virginia's Signature Theatre for the world premiere musical Sycamore Trees written by Ricky Ian Gordon, the award-winning composer of the opera The Grapes of Wrath and the musicals Dream True and My Life with Albertine. Fred Astaire's widow, Robyn, filed a suit May 28 seeking to block what she says is unauthorized use of the Astaire name by the coming Fred and Adele Astaire Awards. The news was reported by the New York Times.
