The New York Musical Theatre Festival will present a one-night-only concert of new music by up-and-coming composers Josh Freilich and Nikko Benson on Monday, July 22nd at 9:00pm at The Alice Griffin Jewel Box Theatre. Previously presented in a sold-out weekend at Mr. (William) Finn's Cabaret at Barrington Stage Company, this evening of new, irreverent tunes will showcase the talents of two promising young alumni of the NYU Graduate Musical Theatre Writing Program.

Erin Dilly, Sarah Stiles & More Set for SONGS RONA WROTE, 6/10

Acclaimed composer, Rona Siddiqui will present her collection of musical theatre songs ranging from comic metal love songs to aquatic funk and everything in between with Songs Rona Wrote: The Music of Rona Siddiqui at the Laurie Beechman Theatre, June 10th at 9:30pm. The concert event will include performances by Erin Dilly (A Christmas Story), Sarah Stiles (Avenue Q, Into the Woods), Gideon Glick (Spring Awakening), Mykal Kilgore (Hair), MJ Rodriguez (Rent), Manu Naruyan (Bombay Dreams), Margo Seibert, Ayesu Lartey, Matt Bauman, Andrew Leggieri, and Ben Langhorst. KNUFFLE BUNNY Opens at Columbia Children's Theatre on 4/12

Columbia Children's Theatre (CCT), the Midlands only professional theatre for families and young audiences will present the musical adaptation of Mo Willems' Caldecott Award-winning children's book Knuffle Bunny: A Cautionary Musical, April 12 - 21. Show times are Fridays at 7:00 p.m.; Saturdays at 10:30 a.m., 2:00 p.m., and 7:00 p.m.; and Sundays at 3:00 p.m.. All shows are held at Columbia Children's Theatre on the 2nd level of Richland Mall, 3400 Forest Drive. Tickets are $8.00 and can be purchased online at www.columbiachildrenstheatre.com. WAGNER & ME to Premiere at Quad Cinema Tonight

In his new documentary film Wagner & Me, director Patrick McGrady follows one of Britain's most loved performers, actor and writer Stephen Fry (Wilde, Bones), as he explores his life-long passion for the world's most controversial composer: Richard Wagner. As a Jew, when Fry enters the world of the Wagner creations he loves, he is intensely aware that it is the same music that was also loved by and inspired Adolf Hitler. Can he disentangle the music from the composer's dark associations with anti-Semitism and Nazis?

Photo Flash: OUR HOUSE 10th Anniversary Concert After Party!

Suggs and Madness saxophonist Lee Thompson led the sell-out audience at the 10th anniversary charity gala performance of OUR HOUSE in an impromptu singalong of their greatest hits last night. It brought the curtain down at the Savoy Theatre on a night that saw many original cast members both in the production and on stage in the show in a fundraiser for the Help for Heroes Charity. Suggs played Joe's dad - a role he took in the West End in 2003. Check out photos from the event's after party below!
