Julio Iglesias to Play Jacksonville's Times-Union Center's Moran Theater, 3/2

Music icon Julio Iglesias announced today that his 2013-14 world tour will include a stop at Jacksonville's Times-Union Center's Moran Theater on Sunday, March 2, 2014 at 7pm. Tickets go on sale this Friday, November 22nd at 10AM through the Artist Series, the official presenter of the show.

Oscar de la Renta to Receive Carnegie Hall Medal of Excellence, 4/24

Carnegie Hall announced today that world-renowned fashion designer Oscar de la Renta will receive the seventh Carnegie Hall Medal of Excellence at a gala benefit on Thursday, April 24 at 6:30 p.m. at The Plaza's Grand Ballroom. The award, recognizing Mr. de la Renta's outstanding leadership in business and philanthropy, will be presented by Sanford I. Weill, Chairman of Carnegie Hall's Board of Trustees.

Latino Theatre Company Opens ¡SER! World Premiere Tonight

The Latino Theater Company presents the world premiere of ¡Ser!, a comedic solo show written and performed by Karen Anzoategui that features live music byCAVA and Walter Miranda written in collaboration with Louie Perez of Los Lobos. ¡Ser! opens at the Los Angeles Theatre Center tonight, Saturday, Nov. 16.

Gary Clark Jr. Headlines Harlem's Apollo Theater Tonight

Singer, songwriter and guitarist extraordinaire Gary Clark Jr. will headline the legendary Apollo Theater in Harlem tonight, November 14th. Clark's show at Terminal 5, set for Nov 16th, has completely sold out. Producers Kevin McCollum, Doug Morris and Berry Gordy have announced 'Makin' It Motown,' a nationwide open call casting search for African-American singers for both the Broadway production of MOTOWN THE MUSICAL and the upcoming national tour, with a rare opportunity to audition for this hit Broadway musical at the Actor's Theatre of Charlotte (650 E. Stonewall Street) in Charlotte, NC, today, November 9. The first national tour will launch in Chicago in April 2014 with Charlotte performance dates to be announced at a later date.
