During her acceptance speech at this year's Emmy Awards, Kristin Chenoweth half-jokingly said, 'I'm unemployed now and I'd like to be on Mad Men...I also like the Office and 24.' As the Star Telegram reports, during an interview with the Tony-award winner, while no concrete job offers have landed on her step, Chenoweth is doing 'just fine' with some noteworthy upcoming appearances, including a return to the TV hit 'Glee', slated for January, and an upcoming Broadway revival of 'Promises, Promises' opposite Sean Hayes.

Lily Tomlin, one of the best-loved women in America, will bring her An Evening of Classic Lily Tomlin to Dixon Place in downtown Manhattan for one night only, November 23, in a special benefit performance. An Evening of Classic Lily Tomlin features the greatest hits of the Emmy- and Tony-winning, Oscar-nominated star with a gallery of her beloved characters. The evening, hosted by the comedian Reno (Rebel Without a Pause, Reno Finds Her Mom, Reno in Rage and Rehab), will begin at 8pm.

Zoe Kazan was delighted to be cast by Richard Linklater. "I had known a lot of people who had worked with him and all of them had had nothing but the kindest things to say and they all turned out to be true. He's very easy-going and he's really hands-on as a director. He doesn't hold your hand or baby you, he let's you do the interpretation on your own and tells you what he needs and he's a lot of fun to work with.

Broadway star, Tony, Grammy and Golden Globe Award winner, Bernadette Peters will pen a second children's book, Stella is a Star, set for publishing and release in the spring of 2010 by Blue Apple Books. The book, inspired by Peters' dog Stella, will feature illustrations by Liz Murphy. Proceeds will go to Broadway Barks, the charitable organization co-founded by Peters and Mary Tyler Moore over over 10 year ago in support of animal shelters.
