Brendan Fraser will appear on NBC's Today Show tomorrow, Friday, November 12 in the 10:00am hour. The new Broadway comedy ELLING, starring Brendan Fraser, Denis O'Hare, Jennifer Coolidge, Richard Easton and Jeremy Shamos, is now in previews at the Ethel Barrymore Theatre (243 West 47th Street).

Jennifer Coolidge will appear on Fox 5's "Good Day New York" tomorrow, Thursday, November 11 between 9:30am and 10:00am. The new Broadway comedy ELLING, starring Brendan Fraser, Denis O'Hare, Jennifer Coolidge, Richard Easton and Jeremy Shamos, is now in previews at the Ethel Barrymore Theatre (243 West 47th Street).

Tickets for Broadway's ELLING are on sale for the general public today, Monday, September 27. ELLING stars Brendan Fraser (Crash, Gods and Monsters, and critically hailed in the West End's Cat on a Hot Tin Roof) and Denis O'Hare (Take Me Out -Tony Award-winner, HBO's 'True Blood') with Jennifer Coolidge (Broadway's The Women, American Pie, Best in Show) Richard Easton (The Invention of Love - Tony Award-winner, The Coast of Utopia, Noises Off) and, just joining the cast, Jeremy Shamos (The Rivals, Reckless). The critically acclaimed new comedy from London, directed by Tony Award-winner Doug Hughes (Doubt, Mrs. Warren's Profession), ELLING will begin performances Tuesday, November 2, open Sunday, November 21 on Broadway at the Ethel Barrymore Theatre (243 West 47th Street) and will play a strictly limited engagement through March 20, 2011.

Tickets for Broadway's ELLING are on sale today, Wednesday, September 15 exclusively for American Express cardholders and for the general public beginning Monday, September 27.

As BroadwayWorld previously speculated, Brendan Fraser, who's film career includes The Mummy, G.I. Joe, Encino Man, Journey to the Center of the Earth and other films will make his Broadway debut in the Simon Bent play - Elling, Variety reports. The play, which will begin previews at the Ethel Barrymore Theatre on November 2, will open officially on November 21. The production will also star Denis O'Hare, Jennifer Coolidge, and Richard Easton and will be directed by Dough Hughes and produced by Howard Panter.

Michael Riedel reports in today's New York Post that Brendan Fraser, who's film career includes The Mummy, G.I. Joe, Encino Man, Journey to the Center of the Earth and other films is now headed to Broadway, to star in the Simon Bent play - Elling.

Whatsonstage.com has confirmed that actor Con O'Neill will take over Matt Lucas' role of Kenneth Halliwell in the West End production of Simon Bent's Prick Up Your Ears at the Comedy Theatre on October 22. He will replace Matt Lucas, who left the production last week in the wake of the suicide of his ex-partner, Kevin McGee, as previously reported.

Con O'Neill is to replace Matt Lucas in the role of Kenneth Halliwell in Daniel Kramer's production of Prick Up Your Ears at the Comedy Theatre. O'Neill will join Chris New who plays Joe Orton and Gwen Taylor as their neighbour in Simon Bent's new play from 22 October 2009.
