The Tony Award-winning Broadway hit MATILDA THE MUSICAL celebrated its 100th performance on Sunday, July 7, closing out another record-breaking week at the Shubert Theatre (225 West 44th Street). The production broke a Shubert house record for the fourth week in a row, grossing $1,307,167 over eight performances for the week ending July 7, 2013.

MATILDA THE MUSICAL's performance on “The Late Show with David Letterman” will be rebroadcast on Thursday, July 4. Led by Bertie Carvel as Miss Trunchbull, the cast initially appeared on June 11. “The Late Show” airs on CBS at 11:35 PM (Channel 2 in New York). Check local listings.

MATILDA THE MUSICAL opened to rapturous reviews in April and has received four Tony Awards, the Best Musical award from the New York Drama Critics Circle, and five Drama Desk Awards including Best Musical.
