Bristol Riverside Theatre continues the 2015-2016 Season with the Neil Simon farce Rumors, running March 22-April 17.  Directed by Keith Baker, the ensemble cast features Bruce Graham, Leonard Haas, Eleanor Handley, Valerie Leonard, Sean Thompson, Jo Twiss, Danny Vaccaro, Jessica Wagner, and Paul Weagraff.

Signature Theatre has announced the cast of The Flick directed by Joe Calarco (Signature's Cake Off, Shakespeare's R&J). The Flick follows the story of three employees at a crumbling Massachusetts movie theatre and was called "the best argument anyone has yet made for the continued necessity, and profound uniqueness, of theater' by New York Magazine. Annie Baker's Pulitzer Prize-winning play will receive its DC area premiere in Signature Theatre's intimate ARK Theatre, March 1 - April 17.

The Old Globe today announced the complete cast and creative team for the West Coast premiere of THE METROMANIACS by supremely clever playwright David Ives (All in the Timing, Time Flies). This uproarious new 'translaptation' of a classic French farce, Alexis Piron's La Metromanie, will be directed by one of America's most renowned stage directors, Michael Kahn, presented in association with Shakespeare Theatre Company.

Yale Repertory Theatre presents the world premiere of THE MOORS by Jen Silverman, directed by Jackson Gay, beginning tonight, January 29, where it will run through February 20 at Yale Repertory Theatre (1120 Chapel Street). Opening Night is Thursday, February 4.

University of Washington alum Brandon Ivie directs the second annual production of the newly established Musical Theater Program at the University of Washington. The production, THE 25TH ANNUAL PUTNAM COUNTY SPELLING BEE, which begins performances tonight, will unite working professionals like Ivie and musical director Jordyn Meeker with undergraduates enrolled in the program.

?Westport Country Playhouse has launched a New Works Initiative to develop new plays and musicals through workshop and reading opportunities involving playwrights and other artists.

FEINSTEIN'S/54 BELOW, Broadway's Supper Club, presents Claybourne Elder on February 19, 2016. In this candid show, Clay won't just sing show tunes and share reminiscences about the theater, but also reflections on travel, adventure, romance - along with what it felt like to get shot in the head eight times a week in Bonnie and Clyde and playing a 19 year-old at 32 on television. He'll bring along some bizarre mementos from his career to show-and-tell and open up about his life growing up in rural Utah as a Mormon. Get intimate with one of New York's favorite theatre personalities in this hilarious and heartfelt solo debut.

Creative Cauldron will premiere MONSTERS OF THE VILLA DIODATI, a new musical written by Stephen Gregory Smith and Matt Conner. The production will run from January 28th through February 21st, 2016 at ArtSpace Falls Church.  Press Night is Saturday, February 6th at 8:00 pm.

Signature Theatre presents a special return engagement of OLD HATS, created and performed by Bill Irwin and David Shiner, with music and lyrics by and featuring Shaina Taub, directed by Tina Landau. The production begins performances tonight, January 26, and will now play an extended run through April 3, 2016 with a Thursday, February 18 opening night in The Irene Diamond Stage at The Pershing Square Signature Center (480 West 42nd Street between 9th and 10th Avenues).

Northlight Theatre Artistic Director BJ Jones and Executive Director Tim Evans announce E. Faye Butler in Concert. This one-night-only concert event will be held at 7:30pm on February 8, 2016 at Northlight Theatre, 9501 Skokie Blvd in Skokie.

The Obie Award-winning Foundry Theatre will continue its tradition of producing theater laced with radical politics by artists and thinkers at the forefront of experimentation with the world premiere of O, EARTH, tonight, January 23, through February 20, 2016 at HERE.
