HAPPILY AFTER EVER Begins 3/30 at 59E59 Theaters

59E59 Theaters will welcome the Ricochet Collective with HAPPILY AFTER EVER, written by Laura Zlatos and directed by Sherri Eden Barber. HAPPILY AFTER EVER begins performances on Wednesday, March 30 for a limited engagement through Saturday, April 16.  Press opening is Wednesday, April 6 at 7:30 PM.  The performance schedule is Tuesday - Thursday at 7:30 PM; Friday - Saturday at 8:30 PM; and Sunday at 3:30 PM. Performances are at 59E59 Theaters (59 East 59th Street, between Park and Madison Avenues). Tickets are $18 ($12.60 for 59E59 Members). Vineyard's Co-Production of INDECENT Begins Performances Next Month Off-Broadway

Vineyard Theatre, in association with La Jolla Playhouse and Yale Repertory Theatre, will present the New York premiere of INDECENT, a new play with music, written by Paula Vogel, created by Paula Vogel and Rebecca Taichman, and directed by Rebecca Taichman, at The Vineyard (108 East 15th Street) with previews beginning April 27 and opening night set for May 17. INDECENT features music composed by Lisa Gutkin (KLEZMATICS) and Aaron Halva (RED NOSES) and choreography by David Dorfman (GREEN VIOLIN). 

Signature Theatre Announces Cast of THE MYSTERY OF LOVE AND SEX

Signature Theatre has announced the cast of The Mystery of Love & Sex directed by Stella Powell-Jones (Off-Broadway's 17 Orchard Point). Playwright Bathsheba Doran (Signature's Nest, Showtime's Masters of Sex) returns to Signature with an unexpected love story of evolving friendship, finding your own path and the value of family and was heralded as "perfectly wonderful" and "among the season's finest plays" by The New York Times. The Mystery of Love & Sex will receive its DC area premiere in Signature Theatre's MAX Theatre, April 5 - May 8.

Robert Schenkkan's Tony Award-winning drama All the Way, about President Lyndon Baines Johnson's impassioned struggle to pass the Civil Rights Act of 1964, makes its Washington, D.C. debut at Arena Stage at the Mead Center for American Theater. Kyle Donnelly, who has directed more than 20 productions at Arena Stage, returns to helm this 'sure-fire, action packed hit' (Huffington Post) about a country still reeling from the assassination of John F. Kennedy and the man tasked with calming the storm. Hailed as a 'sensational night of theater' (NPR), All the Way runs April 1-May 8, 2016 in the Fichandler Stage. Clubbed Thumb Announces SUMMERWORKS Festival Lineup

?Five-time Obie Award-winning theater company Clubbed Thumb has announced the line-up for SUMMERWORKS, its annual series of new plays. Now in its 21st season, SUMMERWORKS will run May 27 through July 9 at The Wild Project (195 E 3rd Street) in Manhattan, and will feature productions of three new plays: EVERY ANGEL IS BRUTAL by Julia Jarcho and directed by Knud Adams; THE TOMB OF KING TOT by Eric Dufault and directed by Portia Krieger; and TUMACHO by Ethan Lipton and directed by Leigh Silverman. Westport Country Playhouse to Host Reading of A.R. Gurney's THE COCKTAIL HOUR, 3/14

Westport Country Playhouse will present a Script in Hand playreading of A. R. Gurney's "The Cocktail Hour," a funny and touching, quasi-autobiographical story about a playwright who writes a new play that presents an unflattering picture of his family, on Monday, March 14, at 7 p.m.  The play will be directed by Anne Keefe, Playhouse associate artist and curator of the playreading series. Tickets are $20 each.
