Signature Theatre has announced the full cast and creative team for the world premiere production of a new holiday musical, Silver Belles.

Alexander Sage Oyen and Jessica Kahkoska's rock collaboration Discount Ghost Stories releases its debut album, Famous Last Words, today.

The new musical Lizard Boy, which took Seattle by storm with its world premiere at Seattle Repertory Theatre in 2015, will receive two private industry readings directed by Brandon Ivie (Jasper in Deadland) at The Peter J. Sharp Theatre (416 West 42nd Street) on November 15, 2016, at 12:00pm and 3:00pm.

T. Schreiber Theatre (TST) celebrates its 48th Anniversary with the first play of their 2016-17 Season, The Motherf**ker with the Hat by Stephen Adly Guirgis. The production is the first New York revival of the play since the Broadway run in 2011. Playwright Stephen Adly Guirgis won the Pulitzer Prize for Drama in 2015 for his play Between Riverside and Crazy and co-created the hit Netflix series The Get Down with Baz Luhrmann. Signature Theatre presents the world premiere production of Disney's Freaky Friday. Developed by Disney Theatrical Productions expressly for licensing to theatres, Freaky Friday features a book by Bridget Carpenter, music by Tom Kitt and lyrics by Brian Yorkey. This premiere production will be directed by Christopher Ashley with choreography by Sergio Trujillo. Freaky Friday runs now through November 20 in Signature Theatre's MAX Theatre. United Solo Theatre Festival, the world's largest solo theatre festival, is pleased to present HEDY! The Life & Inventions of Hedy Lamarr, written and performed by Heather Massie, directed by Joan Kane, on Hedy Lamarr's 102nd Birthday, as part its 7th season at Theatre Row, 410 W 42nd St., NYC, on Wednesday, November 9th @ 7:30PM and Friday, November 11th @ 7:30PM.

Arena Stage at the Mead Center for American Theater presents Carousel, directed by Artistic Director Molly Smith, with music by Richard Rodgers and book and lyrics by Oscar Hammerstein II.

The world premiere of The Wolves, Sarah DeLappe's debut play, was met with widespread critical acclaim and sold-out houses when it opened on September 11 of this year. In response to popular demand, The Playwrights Realm, by arrangement with Scott Rudin and Eli Bush, will present a limited, encore engagement of the production from November 29-December 24.

Today Keen Artistic Director Jonathan Silverstein announced that tickets are now on sale for four more weeks, through December 18th, for Keen's acclaimed new production of Jonathan Larson's Tick, Tick...BOOM! Ciara Renee will play her final performance on November 20th. Beginning November 22nd, Lilli Cooper, seen on Broadway in Spring Awakening and Wicked, will take over the role of Susan.

Yale Repertory Theatre presents August Wilson's SEVEN GUITARS, directed by Timothy Douglas, at Yale Repertory Theatre (1120 Chapel Street) November 25 through December 17. Opening Night is Thursday, December 1.

Virginia Theatre Association will again host a Who's Who of Virginia's theatre community, including Broadway's Mercedes Herrero (University of Virginia and Yale Drama, Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time, The Laramie Project); Charlotte d'Amboise (Pippin, Chicago, A Chorus LIne) Theatre/Tech Visionary Natasha Tsakos, Google Live Event Strategist Jason Fahlstrom, and many others, when Virginia Theatre Association (VTA) returns to Norfolk for its #VTA2016: Creative Acts Annual Conference, today, October 26, through October 30, 2016, at the Norfolk Waterside Marriott Hotel.

Long Wharf Theatre, under the director of Artistic Director Gordon Edelstein and Managing Director Joshua Borenstein, present Other People's Money, by Jerry Sterner, directed by Marc Bruni from November 23 through December 18 on the Claire Tow Stage in the C. Newton Schenck Theatre.

Signature Theatre's production of The Death of the Last Black Man in the Whole Entire World, by Pulitzer Prize-winner Suzan-Lori Parks and directed by Lileana Blain-Cruz, begins tonight, October 25, and runs through December 4, 2016 with a Sunday, November 13 opening night in The Alice Griffin Jewel Box Theatre at The Pershing Square Signature Center (480 West 42nd Street between 9th and 10th Avenues).
