Photo Flash: Zach Braff, et al. at ALL NEW PEOPLE Opening Night!

American actor Zach Braff (Scrubs and Garden State) just made his UK stage acting debut in a new comedy, All New People. The witty play, written by Braff, will be directed by award-winning Peter DuBois. All New People opened at the Duke of York's Theatre on 22 February 2012. Check out photos from opening night below!

Topher Grace & Olivia Thirlby to Lead LONELY, I'M NOT at Second Stage

TOPHER GRACE and OLIVIA THIRLBY will co-star in Second Stage Theatre's production of Paul Weitz's world premiere comedy, LONELY, I'M NOT, directed by Trip Cullman. Preview performances are scheduled to begin on Tuesday, April 10 at Second Stage's Tony Kiser Theatre (305 West 43rd street). The production will officially open on Monday, May 7. Second Stage Theatre's One-Week Extension of HOW I LEARNED TO DRIVE Canceled

Due to a last-minute scheduling-conflict with lead actor Norbert Leo Butz, Second Stage Theatre's one-week extension of their critically-acclaimed production of How I Learned to Drive has been canceled. The limited engagement will now conclude on Sunday, March 11 as originally scheduled. Written by Paula Vogel and directed by Kate Whoriskey, the production features Mr. Butz and Elizabeth Reaser and is playing at Second Stage's Tony Kiser Theatre (305 West 43rd Street). The Gallery Players Present A RAISIN IN THE SUN, Opening 3/17

The Gallery Players today announced cast and crew for Lorraine Hansberry's A Raisin in the Sun. Directed by Reginald L. Douglas and produced by Brian Michael Flanagan, The Gallery Players' production of this seminal American play opens Saturday March 17.

Topher Grace to Star in LONELY, I'M NOT, 4/10

According to perezhilton.com, Spider-man 3 star Topher Grace will be playing the lead in Paul Weitz's upcoming play LONELY, I'M NOT, alongside Being Flynn's Olivia Thirlby. The show runs April 10 to May 27 at Second Stage Theatre.

Profiles Theatre Extends BACHELORETTE Through April 29

Profiles Theatre announces the extension of their hit Midwest premiere of Bachelorette by Leslye Headland, directed by Profiles Co-Artistic Director Darrell W. Cox. All cast members are continuing in their roles including ensemble member Eric Burgher and guest artists Hillary Marren, Linda Augusta Orr, Rakisha Pollard, Amanda Powell and Adam Soule. The production has been selling out since its opening on February 1, 2012 and has now been extended an additional seven weeks, through April 29, 2012, at Profiles Theatre, 4147 N. Broadway in Chicago.

Summer Uptown Series Announced for Second Stage Theatre

Second Stage Theatre (Carole Rothman, Artistic Director) has announced the two world premiere plays which will be presented as part of the company's tenth annual Second Stage Theatre Uptown Series this summer: Alena Smtih's The Bad Guys, and Kenneth Lin's Warrior Class, directed by Evan Cabnet.

DCTC Announces Colorado New Play Summit Lineup

The Denver Center Theatre Company (DCTC) today announced of the lineup of playwrights and directors for its Seventh Annual Colorado New Play Summit. Over three days, February 10 -12, 2012 in downtown Denver, DCTC will present multiple showings of four play readings, a multimedia workshop and two fully-produced main stage plays, including new works by Pulitzer nominee Lisa Loomer, 2011 Obie winner Samuel D. Hunter, and direction by Broadway veterans Marcia Milgrom Dodge (Ragtime) and Sam Buntrock (Sunday in the Park with George).

Les Waters Bids Berkley Rep Adieu With Production of RED, 3/22 - 4/29

The Broadway play Red comes to Berkeley Repertory Theatre in March, staged as a valedictory by Obie Award-winner Les Waters as he departs the Bay Area to take the reins at Actors Theatre of Louisville. John Logan, the Oscar-nominated author of Aviator and Gladiator, won Tony and Drama Desk Awards for this feverish 90-minute drama. Now Waters and two exceptional actors bring this powerful play to local audiences. Red begins previews on the intimate Thrust Stage on March 16, opens March 22, and runs through April 29.
